Take part in the annual Lake Frances Fall Adventure Camp, hosted at Lake Frances, home of the Flip Fest Summer Camp. The Fall Adventure Camp is designed to be a great jumpstart to your competition season for levels 7, 8, 9 and 10. This event will help the gymnasts be more prepared and confident for the upcoming season, as well as encourage coaches and judges to share and gain different ideas, rules and techniques.
Gymnasts and coaches will arrive Friday and have the opportunity to train through Sunday afternoon. During the weekend a variety of coaches, nationally renowned clinicians and nationally certified judges will work with the gymnasts. Saturday, during a special testing time, all the gymnasts will have the opportunity to perform new skills, individual sequences or routines for the judges and clinicians and receive feedback. This is an opportunity to start your season off in a positive direction with coaching and judging input from some of the top experts in our sport.
Clinicians and judges attending this year include, Mary Lee Tracy, Olympic Team Coach and National Clinician, Tammy Biggs, USA Gymnastics National Coaching Staff, Svetlana Boguinskia, Olympic Champion and National Clinician, Steve Butcher, Olympic Judge and National Clinician, as additional clinicians and judges are added they will be posted on our website.
Along with the gymnastics training, teams will have the opportunity to compete and participate in a variety of team-building and camp activities throughout the weekend, including the Lake Frances Ropes Course. This is a chance to create some great team chemistry and memories that will carry your club into the season.
for coaches
Each gym will be able to bring one free coach for every eight gymnasts from their club. Additional coaching spots are available beyond this for $50 per coach. All housing, meals, and activities are included. For the coaches, throughout the weekend, there will be clinics and coaches’ roundtables that will include our guest clinicians, judges, attending coaches.
the housing
Teams will be housed together on site in the Lake Frances cabins. Each team needs to bring a coach or chaperone (of the same sex) who will stay with their team in the cabin. There will be separate housing for any additional coaches. Gymnast cabins hold up to 16 campers and one chaperone. If you bring more than 16 gymnasts, you will need to bring an additional chaperone. If a team brings eight or less gymnasts they may be required to share a cabin with another team.
camp cost
Spaces for the camp will be very limited. Entry fee for each gymnast will be $225 and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Included in this price are meals for the entire weekend for gymnasts and coaches, all camp activities, and housing for each gymnast and chaperone.

PAYMENT MUST BE POSTMARKED BY OCTOBER 15, 2009. IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR FINAL PAYMENT BY OCTOBER 1, 2009, WE MAY FORFEIT YOUR SPOT TO ANOTHER CAMPER. We will refund all payments except a $50 processing fee to campers who postmark written cancellations BY OCTOBER 15, 2009. We will not give refunds to any camper who withdraws anytime after arriving. We do not give discounts to any camper who arrives late or departs early. All campers must be covered by their own insurance.
